My new SMS installation will not discover any servers/workstations. I have found a discrepency. In the book I have it lists the following accounts to be in the NT domain:-

sms remote service account
smsclitoknacct& account
sms&_<dC_name> account

I have found these to be local accounts of the server and not propagated to the domain. Does anyone know if they:-

a - Should be domain accounts?
b - How to make them domain accounts?
c - Why SMS didn't propagate them to the domain along with the client service account etc?

Yes - the accounts should be domain account. This is the way SMS performs it's installations and pretty much anything else it needs to do. The accounts need to be manually created on the domain. If you're running on a 2000 server then you need to make sure it is in the correct OU (Organizational Unit).
