Got a 3 site solution using IP_SEC Tunnels which are provided with the IP Office.
We seem to have an issue where the sites have very strange symptons which I have never encountered before.

The systems seem to struggle doing minor things. They freeze when dialling a speed dial which is stored in the directory bin. The MOH (Internal Wav) Files jumps.
Yet when pulling the wav file from the manager on my customers pc plays fine 100%

Now due to VPN I have used a meshed method of routing 3 sites. I have done this to avoid a call going through two sets of ADSL circuits to get to the furthest site. But avaya have said it should be a star topology.

Any one seen any thing like this before?

Definitely change to a star topology. Mesh topologies can create routing loops. That may be your problem.

The IPO docs under VPN has a section called "Maximum Capacities" which says that there is a 1 Mbps maximum throughput along with the other capacities. The 412 and 406v2 do hardware encrption where the other switches do software encrption.

Look at this page and see if you are exceeding any of the recommended parameters.

Wont this decrease voice quality doing it as a star topology.
