Need to get data detail calling from a specific dn. Can someone tell me how and what load. Thanks

i was told there is no 3rd party. Doesnt the pbx have that info?

Some newer release have some space allocated for Call Records. But it is volitale data and overwritten.

Most places take a feed from the PBX and dump the data into a database application made just for Call Detail records.

And remember, if your desired call records include internal calls, you have to set the monitored extn to do that.

CDR reporting is based on routes - not specific DN's.

In a pinch, output the CDR to an unused TTY port and use a terminal emulator such as Procomm or Hyperterm to capture it to a file* - and then you can import it into a database and build a query to find the data you need.

But as others said - the best bet is a 3rd party application that is designed to store and report the data.

* Save and rename this file often - like once a day in case the PC capturing the data crashes, reboots, whatever during data collection.
