Some info from Alex:

Follow-me
This feature makes you accessible by telephone at any location in the private network that your exchange belongs to. For example, when you are working in another room and want your calls to follow you to that answering position.

When your telephone has follow-me you can still make calls from it as usual.

As a reminder that your telephone has follow-me you will hear a special dial tone each time you lift the handset to make a call and the Diversion lamp indicates that your triple access line has follow-me.

30.1 To order follow-me from your own telephone
Using the diversion key

Lift the handset (dial tone).
Press the Diversion-key.
Dial the extension number of the answering position.
Press the Diversion-key (special dial tone and the diversion lamp is turned ON).
Replace the handset.
Using a procedure

Lift the handset (dial tone).
Dial *21*the extension number of the answering position# (special dial tone and the diversion lamp is turned ON).
Replace the handset.
Note For an additional line, the diversion lamp is not affected.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

30.2 To activate Follow-me to unknown telephone
If you want your calls to follow you but you do not know the extension number in advance you can still achieve Follow-me by diverting your telephone to your own extension before leaving your room.

If you are a member of an internal group hunting group, this procedure makes you temporarily out of the group, see 36 Internal group hunting .

Lift the handset (dial tone).
Dial *21*own extension number#.
Replace the handset.
30.3 To redirect from any answering position
If you are already in the room containing extension 1234 and are unable to return to your own room before moving to another (third) room you can order a new answering position from extension 1234 or from the new answering position.

Lift the handset (dial tone).
Dial *21*own extension number* the extension number of the new answering position# (special dial tone).
Replace the handset.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

30.4 To redirect from answering position
If you have ordered Follow-me to a room with e.g. extension number 2222 and you are unable to return to your room before moving to another (third) room you can order a new answering position from the extension 2222 or from the new answering position.

Lift the handset (dial tone).
Dial *21*own extension number* extension number of the new answering position# (special dial tone).
Replace the handset.
If you do not know the extension number in advance you can order Follow-me to unknown extension from extension 2222.

Lift the handset (dial tone).
Dial *21*own extension number *own extension number# (special dial tone).
Replace the handset.
30.5 To cancel follow-me from your own telephone
Using the diversion key

Press the Diversion-key (the diversion lamp is turned OFF).
Using a procedure

Lift the handset (special dial tone).
Dial #21# (dial tone and the diversion lamp is turned OFF).
Replace the handset.
Note For an additional line, the diversion lamp is not affected.

30.6 To cancel follow-me from answering position
Lift the handset (dial tone).
Dial #21*own extension number# (dial tone).
Replace the handset.

BR,

Hi guys,

Thank you for your help.

But now the next problem:

I want to divert an extension like an operator does, using * 21 * ext1 * ext2 #
I want to do this on a normal users extension.
The Master feature is not working, i'm getting a "Failed"-message. Am i doing something wrong, or what!

Thanks you again, [wink]

Nico.

Hi Rorny and others

I tried your solution. It works indeed (thank yout for it), but not with cordless extensions. Is there a way to make it work with cordless?

I hope anyone can help me.

Looking forward to your answers.

Nico.

Hi,

For DECT check GESPP/CDIV parameter:

1.2 FUNCTION
The parameter states the diversion facilities for an extension.

External Follow Me. The possibility to do Follow Me to an external part can be given to an extension.
Diversion. Categories for the grade and type of diversion service are stated.
Follow Me (internal or network). When this function is used the call can be diverted to an extension (internal or in the same network) that has been programmed by the extension requesting the facility.

Multi directory diversion. It states that, when follow me, direct diversion or message diversion facility are activated/cancelled for an ODN, the same facility is also activated/cancelled for the ADNs corresponding to the same own directory number.

Diversion bypass. Gives an extension the category needed to have the possibility of doing diversion bypass.
Diversion on origin. The parameter also allows the diversion on origin feature. Ways of diversion are assigned to select different answering positions based on calling party's type.
