MICS w/7.1 software. Trying to change the Distinct ring on a line (either Target or Trunk). If I change it 2/3 or 4 and go back into programming, its back to default. Any ideas?

Try making the line private then back to public and try again.

Update - it dosen't set it to default, it sets back to none.

Sounds bugged, REINSTALL might be in order.
Reboot first and try again.

Curly - My lab switch actually defaulted on its own (after powering it down then up). Still same problem. I don't think its the MICS because I can't get this to work on a customer's MICS (same issue).

Just tried the same thing on an Enterpise Edge. Same problem.

Does it work anyway regardless of what programming states?.
I wonder if the users settings are overriding...I thought it would be the other way around.

Yes I have used DR many times and once I applied it to a trunk or HG it would no longer be a option for a end user to pick, but no I haven't had your problem as it always worked for me the way you think it would.
