If I were anywhere near a system I would try EVAL:$CLI=$KEY in a Generic action and then see if that sticks when the call goes back to the IP Office. The VMPro help lists the $CLI variable as being writeable but I'll admit I've never tried it.
It still gets lost.. I added the EVAL line.. at the generic action... and tried with $KEY and $CLI in the transfer description, but the number still gets lost.
Back in front of a system. You're right but it was worth a try.
Testing with a few generic actions and speaking the $CLI back as a prompt, the value of $CLI is writeable but only while the call remains in the hands of the voicemail server. When the call goes back to the IP Office the original CLI returns. Shame.
Do you guys use "Description" or "Source of transfer" ?
Source of transfer is for internal only !
So if not try the "Description" and see if it then stays on the phone
