I am trying to setup a disa DN. I have entered all data in LD 24. When I call the DN I get a fast busy. Is there something I missed? Here is what LD 24 looks like.
REQ PRT
TYPE DIS
CUST 0
DN XXXX

CUST 0
DN xxxx
SCOD
AUTR NO
TGAR 1
NCOS 6
COS UNR
RANR NONE
DGTS NONE

There is no security yet because I just want to get it working before I add another variable to the mix. Any help is appreciated.

DISA is for remote access so I'm not sure if you can just dial the DN to test. What happens if you assign a DID to it?

It worked from outside. Good call. I didn't even think of that. I thought since the DN was designated as DISA it wouldn't matter if it was dialed from inside or out. That's what I get for thinking!
I appreciate the input.

Nortel were removing DISA package from switches on upgrade at one stage (at least in Europe), so not sure if it'll disappear over time.

IP softphones secured over a VPN for remote access is an alternative to DISA.

Shouldn't be that many problems with DISA if properly configured (secured).
