I administer a Norstar KSU/PRI MICS 5. Handsets are M7310.

Is there a way to look up anyone's extension and call them? We always print off a list of names and extensions, but that's not always convenient (gets lost). I see at this post
There's something called
Feature 967 Access Dial By Name directory
If I dial that, I get "Inactive Feature".

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I believe feature codes in the 900 range are generally reserved for a voice mail, ACD,RAD,SMDR (and maybe a few other) modules, not the KSU itself. Not every voice mail supports Feature 967.

Dial by name was setup on the Nam. It was used for calling outside numbers. The software came with each Nam but not many people used it.

Yeah, that code I mentioned is probably in the vmail box. There is a delay when i punch it in, like other 9xx codes.

It seems like an obvious feature in the KSU to have (easily) implemented. All the DNs are named. I map to a person's name. Would be nice for anyone to refer to a list of DNs and name.

I suppose I could just dial our main number, then use the auto attendent feature to dial by name. A bit ham-handed, but easier than remembering feature codes.
