Hi all.
Need a little refresh on the IP Office VCM's on combo cards.
When an IP phone is calling out over an analog line, it uses the vcm's within the combo card / cards, correct?
I have a customer who is reporting poor call quality, and after doing testing with the customer network tech, making sure QoS is on their switches, and the phone vlan's are correct, they still say they have poor call quality.
I had my tech plug a digital 14xx phone into the unit and call in and out. I was advised that all of the calls were "crystal clear".
Do the digital phones use the vcm's on the combo cards the same as an IP set?
Regards
