I have a IPO 500 V2 running 7.0(12) with embedded voicemail - no VMPro. Phones are 9640s. The 15 or so users want to be able to differentiate between a call to their DID vs a call that came in from the operator and was transferred.

There is a very brief time on the phone - during the 1st ring - where you can tell that the call was was transferred (vs being a call to the DID). However, that indication goes away quickly and is replaced by the just the caller ID info. If you aren't staring at your phone waiting for it to ring, it's very easy to miss the fact that it was a transferred call.

Is there a good solution/workaround to provide what they're looking for?

They can use Phone Manager lite on their PC, it will show the source of the transfer.

Tag their DID/DDI on Incoming call route with the word "Direct" or something like that :)

Ok - didn't even think about tagging on the incoming call route. Works great. Thanks!
