how can i make this thing work? i have a PRI configured.but the DID is not working. example: the pilot line is 2147888 when an incoming call ia made the call is directed to local 7888.but even when i dial 2147801 it also directed to local 7888.when it supposed to ring directly to local 7801. help please.thanks.

system is BCM 450.

Did u assign the target lines to the set? Did u pgm the rec'd digits for each target line?

yup already did.

i assignED LINE 361 (TARGET LINES)
PUB REC.OLI: 2147808
PRV REC: 7808

and programmed ASSIGNED DN

LINE 361
assigned to DN 7808
appr&ring

still not working. still the incoming calls from DID 2147808 is not ringing directly to local 7808.instead goES straight to the operator 7888.

i wonder what the problem is?

Are you sure the Telco is really sending 7 digits?

What is the prime for the line 361 and check the recived digits again the numbers are close 7808 and 7888,also are the other target lines ringing to the sets?

gberger: yes sir the TELCO said so.( theyre sending 7 digits)

peewee: yup.im using the BCM monitor. the DNIS appears 7808 WHEN 2147808 has incoming calls.

cook1082: yup the primeline for LINE 361 is 7888( the local of the operator phone)

The prime for line 361 should be 7808 but it still should ring on the first call to 7808 not 7888.
Do the other target lines ring to the correct sets.

By experience, what TELCO say is not always right..
Give it a try and program your Public Receive to 7808 instead of 2147808 and see if it rings to 7808.

i mean i have 2 bcm50 connected ,
i can call other extensions in the other system
but i cannot transfer the call !!! any idea ??
please urgent.....

emillysdad , what do you mean by start new thread ?
this is the first time i join forum ...

if DNIS is showing 7808 on BCM monitor then the telco is sending 4 digits and not 7.
If they were sending 7 digits then DNIS on the monitor will show 7 digits.
Thats why the calls are going to the prime extn.

IN the PRI card settings you can set the receive lenght to match the telco settings receive lenght.

I suggest you set this to 4 rather than changing the public receive lenght, other wise you will have to reprogramme the receive numbers for all the target lines.
