Is there any way to find out what DID numbers you have available to assign?
 
Couple of questions.

a. in what Switch?
b. are they translated or match the numbering plan?

7699>0000> this will display the DID assigned to Bin number. Just step through till you have a NONE.

Well last company I worked for we had a list of BIN #s which corrisponded to DID #s. We would keep a list of which ones were already assigned. This company I work for now does not have any type of documentation. I need a way to figure out which numbers I are used and which ones I can give out.
 
looks like your into trial and error time.

I would start with the BTN and work up from there if there is translation.

first check
3518>xx>
to see if its translated if its a 0 then check
3512>xx>
0 = 1 digit
1 = 2 digit
2 = 3 digit
3 = 4 digit

to see how many digits are being translated default is 4 digits.
then check 7600>(last x of Billing Telephone #, where x is the digits translated from 3512)

see if there is a pattern in the 100 block. fill in the gaps from there. Good luck.

Thanks for you help! I dont understand you completly though. So when I tried these commands I got:

3518>xx>xx:1
3512>xx>xx:3

Billing number is 850-6111. Where do I go from here?
 
ok the incomming lines are not being translated to an extension via 3518 and 7600.

so your indial should match your numbering plan.

so 4 digit number plan your main line should be extension 6111
in 3 digit number plan your main line should be extension 111

I would run through command 10 or 14 and list up the Extensions find one that is skipped and program one in.
for example
10>001>f111
10>002>f112
10>003>f113
10>004>f114
10>005>f116

Insert f115 at an open lens. 9000>115,01> your prime line 93>115>115 then dial 850-6115. see if you get RBT and ring on the extension.

if that works find your highest Xtn number verify the indial , and I would have a base pool of numbers to work with. otherwise give the carrier a call and find out what numbers the customer has bought (usually in blocks of 10,25,50 or 100)

Ok so I just did the 10 command got this:

10>0001>f2233
10>0002>F2154

So they are not in order it seems like. Also our main number is 850-6111 but all our direct line numbers are 458-XXXX.

The extension f2233 (in bin 0001) has a DID of 458-3052. Any idea what's going in there?
 
One more thing, our main number is 850-6111 but the extension for that number is 2200.
 
My initial guess would be that you checked the wrong trunk route. Check through Cmd 3002 for the lines set to 18 then in Cmd 3000 find out what route those lines are assigned to. You can then try 3518 & 3512 for that route.

Just a couple of quick points here. When checking Cmd 10 there are a couple of numbers that won't appear but will be in use. Those are your LDN if one is assigned (6111 probably) and the RDA modem number (this is assigned in Cmd 4010). You will also have to list up Cmd 11 to see what numbers have been used for virtuals.

Are you using matworx because if you are there is a len listup feature under the system tab. This can be saved as an Excel file and sorted by Extn No (the listup will be in Len No order). This feature lists up both Cmd 10 and 11.

Also in Matworx there is an Office data listup feature under the Function tab which lets you list up individual commands, so you can use this to list up and export all the digit translation details.
 
Why not check this

7600>6111:xxx

if there is data there then you are converting 850-6111 in which case telco is sending 6111 as the DNIS. You may trhen be converting 6111 to 2200

7601>xxx (this would be the same data shown in 7600) Do the same for 7602

If there is no data for any of these commands then telco may be sending a different DNIS. It does not appear that they are pointing your main number to a DID or performing an RCF (remote call forward) on your 850-6111
 
Cool! I think I figured it out (thanks to you guys).

So when I do cmd 7600 and type in the last 4 of a DID or even our main number (6111), I get an output starting with 5XXX. Those last 3 numbers in 5XXX are the last 3 numbers of each person's extension. For example, my DID is 3054 and when I put that into cmd 7600, I get:

7600>3054:5262

My extension is 2262... So the last 3 digits match up to the extension.

BTW, here is what i get from the 3002 and 3000 commands:

3002>000:04
3002>001:04
3002>002:031
Anything after that is Not Assigned

3000>000:12
3000>001:12
3000>002:12
Anythign after that is Not Assigned
 
Sounds like you have an 2000IVS

Command 7600 is for day mode. Be sure to check 7601 for night mode as well.
 
Things sound a little screwed up here. According to the data you posted, you have DID/tie lines in the same route as DIT lines!

The ISDN may well be considerably further up the range than you may have tried. Here in Oz we usually start PRA at line 101 and BRA at 051 (for no reason other than convenience). I don't want to get into how to work out the AP number of the ISDN card as that could be complicated so try stepping through the full 255 possible line numbers.

I suspect it's not an IVS but an IPS check 7601 for 5262 it should come back with 2262 (5262 is just the memory block it just makes it easier if they line up like this).
 
If it was an IPS then 7600 would point to a 3 digit bin then 7601 and 7602 would point the bin to an extension.

I just put all the numbers from 3000-3100 into the 7600 command. It came out with a bunch of the extensions starting with 5. So for example my extension is 2262 and it would show up as 5262. I can figure that out... but I did come up with about 10 numbers that started to a 2. They are the actual DIDs. Why is this?
 
I mean they are the actul extension of the person. Does the first number not matter? If i were to assign one of those 3XXX numbers to an extension could I just put in their actual extension?
 
do you have a subline or virtual on the phones that would indicate an outside call from an internal one.

I.E.
Station 2262
9000>2262,01>2262
9000>2262,02>5262

so your prime line is an internal Xtension and the outside line a subline.

have you cheked cmd 11 for the virt extn and E600 for a forward?
