Is there any way to find out what DID numbers you have available to assign?

Could you guide me through how to do that? I'm a network admin so I'm not upto speed with the phones yet.

I just did the 9000 command and I got some wierd results. Very unconsistant.

9000>2262,01>F5000
9000>2262,02>F1100
9000>2233,01>F1101
9000>2233,02>F1102
9000>2269,01>5120
9000>2269,02>5121

Could you guys please explain what each of these commands are supposed to do?

easiest way is to call your DID and see what key it rings on. then call from an internal xtn and check the key. if they are different you may have the subline outlined above.

if they are the same you may have a virtual forwarded to your extension.

to check you need to press in this order
trans, conf, *, Trans, conf, #
it should now say "cat mode'
press lnr or spd
now you will have "command=" on the screen
enter E600 (E is the 5 button on the top row or the first on the second row)
then press recall
enter 5262
press recall
so now you have on the phone
E600>5262>xxxx (Where XXXX is an extension number prolly 2262)
press speaker to step down if you want to see more. pick up then replace the handset to exit this mode.

It does ring on two different buttons for extension and for DID.

Ahhhhh Ha!

we have a winner! your DID's are mapped to a virtual line! so in essence what you need to do is map out the 5xxx series of numbers via 7600 and you should be able to find open DID's if there are any more.

you may have to create 5xxx series numbers in command 11 and map them to the new extensions.

a la previous post.
Station 2262
9000>2262,01>2262
9000>2262,02>5262

to make any new extensions work the same as old ones.
