Guys

I'm having a problem when trying to dial a missed call from the call log. The missed call is presented without the required 9 prefix. When I press Dial from the handset the call fails saying 'No line selected'. I have the prime line setup as I/C under the Active Set properties. I can't seem to get this to work even when I change this to None or PoolA. Anyone got any ideas on how I get this working?

Thanks.

Have you tried dialing a "9" first then hitting ur dial button?

Use the EDIT Button to insert a 9. Someone told me you can preprogram the phone to insert the 9 and the 1 if there is an NPA, but I haven't tried it.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

Use the EDIT button: That's a little convoluted isn't it?

Our users struggle to use the list calls buttons.

I'm looking for an option that will insert the '9' automatically. I've used Cisco CM before and it could do this.

What's an NPA?

It's going to be an option on the phone. The system is going to only display the inbound number presented to it, and that will never include the 9 for you to get back out.

Unless there is an option within the telephone itself, you're stuck with either using the edit button, or dialing 9 before pressing the call logs dial button.
