using a ata for a single line phone. How do you program it to access a outline by dialing 9 also what do you dial to access the page.

For the line out, you have to give that extension access to a line pool.

To Page:
Phones only F611
Speakers only F62
Phones & Speakers F631

Use the Feature codes MooreTel said then to access a Feature from an analog set you would use a link and *

For the most part with ATA's what you do for accessing features is first flash the analog phone (norstar calls this link) then dial * followed by the feature code. so for a transfer to another extension flash * 7 0 ext hangup. for a centrex/outside line transfer flash * 7 1 number hangup (or flash * 7 1 for an outside confrence.

Here is my method for ATA...

ATA
Lince Access
-2 Intercoms
-Line Pool Access X = y
-Prime line = Pool X

Capabilities
-Hotline = External
---External # : enter F78 (pause)
---use prime line

So when you go off hook it grabs the line pool, a pause is entered and ready for you to dial number.

As for paging:
Link/Flash then * then the codes as MooreTel mentions.

Example
Link/Flash then * then 611 for sets in zone 1

In other words Link (or Flash) followed by * (star) = the FEATURE button.

Thanks fellows. Got the page to work already. Will work on the dial nine access later. Again Thanks....

Assigning a Hotline is fine IF it's always using a line for a external call such as a fax. If on the other hand, you sometimes need to use the intercom, don't assign a Hotline. By default whatever you assign as a Prime Line, it'll still be Intercom (unless there's a Hotline assigned).

Yes sorry I had fax in my head last night.
