I want to dial-in directly to the MOH-port from the IP403.
My police radio scanner is connected to the MOH-port so i can listen on every speakerphone.
I like to dial-in with my GSM directly to the MOH-port when i hear the police sirens ;-)

Is there someone with an idea?

Thanx,
Atraxx

(IP403 v2.0 Vmail light)

On the incoming route point it at a short code *34.

*34 will play hold music check this works by dialing it from an extension

[cheers]

Thanks for your reply.
It seemed so easy that way but it wil not work.
When i point it to *34 i hear 'information-tone' and the public message: 'This number does not exist'. It wil blocked as an incomming call.
When i point it to a station it works fine so there's no problem with the incoming ISDN number (MSN)
*34 from a ip-office station works fine to.
Did you test it yourselve on v2.0 or was it for me to try? Maybe it wil work on v3.0....

Someone else a tip?

Greetzz,
Atraxx

correction on my answer:
Sorry i returned the wrong info. The preset om my cellphone was not correct. The result gives just bussy-tone.
(not a 'number not exist' message) ;-|

I would have thought directing the incoming route to *34 would have worked. Ill have to try it.

The only other thing I can think of for now is send your incoming route to a busy group and you get MOH that way just extend the queue delay timer so you don't get the queue message. Not very elegant

[cheers]

Thanks crashtest1000, this wil work with an empty hunt without members.
Now every 20 seconds the queue message is playing and the MOH(police radio)-sound wil stop as long the message is playing.
I can't find a parameter to set or disable the repeat timer of this message. Now i renamed the original queue-message in voicemail (svm_18.wav) and replaced it for a little soft beep. It's a very short beep and not disturbing.
When there is no sound (from police radio) it gives me an indication that there is still a connection.
(Removing svm_18.wav results in a very short MOH-sound drop on every 20 seconds (hik))

I can do this all above because i don't use normal queuing on the IP-403.

Thanx,
Atraxx

Have you tryed to change *34 in a number like 100 en put the incoming call route to this number.

Hi Peter, my Dutch friend! Alles goed man?

Yes i made an extra functioncode 111, the same as *34. It worked from a station but not from an incoming route.
I think there's no other option like the one i configured with the empty hunt and the replaced queue message (wav-file). Acces to the MOH-scanner is ruled by incomming CLI so it works fine for me now.

Thanks for help and ideas!
Alex
