hey guys,

i have a customer with the following...

406v2 4.2.4

the dial 9 shortcode is working but i dont think its working right??

when i dial 9 it takes a couple of seconds and goes to ARS 50:main. if i try and modify any of the dial delay times, its either to fast or to slow.

when i dial 9 should i get a secondary dial tone immediatley? or how can i set it up to do that?

thanks

How does your ShortCode and ARS look like?

shortcode is... (sytem is using PRI, all channels line group 0)

9N
dial
N
50:main

ARS 50:main
code: N;
telephone number: N;
feature: dial
line group: 0

Take the ; off the tel number in the ARS but leave it on the code

Should work as is so see if changing the ; helps at all.

Thinking about it if you also have a 911 code in system shortcodes it will wait for the dial delay timer as that will give two possible matches when you only press 9.

It's an American thing I think to force en-bloc dialling.
