I'm stuck!
It started with some memory problems.
I was trying to run a diagnostic boot using these settings:
diag-level menu
diag-switch true
boot-device disk
diag-device disk
auto-boot false

Now the system wont boot. It doesn't even get to the openboot prompt, I just have a blank screen.
I have tried:
stop-a,stop-f at various times
pressing the power button twice quickly after power up
disconnecting keyboard and connecting to ttya from a pc with hyperteminal then restarting. (with a terminal cable and two adapters for the rj-45 ends: one for the serial port/pc side and one for the db-25/ sun side)

I just can't get to the openboot prompt again.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Solved problem.
I was able to get an openboot test menu through hyperterminal. As a sanity check I was confirming that the adapters were in good shape, and it looked like the pins were wrong for the db-25 connector. I found one that came with the server and bam! the menu comes up in the terminal.
