diabling voice mail for line 2

I have 2 lines on my MCIS but I only want VM to answer calls on line 1. However, I do want to make line 2 available for outbound calls.

I tried putting line 2 in pool B and disabling access but it still rings at the main set 221 and then VM picks up.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I think I answered my own question....

I just change the line2 access for 221 to Appear instead of Appear&Ring.

I'm not very sure of what you're asking. In my opinion you are asking how to stop voicemail from picking up on line 2. You want voicemail to answer line 1 only. If this is the case.... I did this today on a norstar cics with callpilot 100. F 983 AA Lines 02 Middle button (sorry i dont recall exactly what the option is, but i do know its the middle button) from there it is pretty self explanitory hit next... * out or just hit release. I hope this answered your question.
