I have two ISND-PRI T1's out in Las Vegas, NV. I will get a wave off coming from the PBX if a number is dialed that is not in service, etc. The wave off is received instead of a carrier recording stating this. I have never encountered this error before, does this have to do with the PBX programming or is this a carrier related issue? Prologix r11

So, as I take it, you've got no returned messages on your question. That's bad. I have the same problem here, in Moscow. And no one can help me or explain where I can find any information on the subject. What does it mean "denial event 1164" and how the problem can be fixed. Pls. let me know if you find out something new. Thanks

Guys

I have the same cause code. We have Worldcom looking into this I will let you know as soon as I have a response

Ok, Three cheers for Sprint for finally figuring it out! Only took a couple of months but...The cause of this is that there is a field in their translations that needs to be turned on for the trunk. The field is AUD RVA for audible recorded voice announcement. All they need to do is turn it on on the trunk and poof! the calls go through.

Hi All

Me also geting same type of issue, can someone help me out in this regard. System is definity G3R R11.

Hi all

Finally resolved the issue using an ISDN tester and a little configuration change at my local switch.

I have been struggling with the same problem for over two weeks. I would love to hear the configuration changes you made. Please call me at 504-561-6590 to discuss your solution because I don't regularly monitor this group.

ps. The receptionist here is not too sharp so if you don't get me the first try, PLEASE try again later.

HI BOB

I gave u a call at ur office and left my cell number to the receptionist as u were away at that time. If u still need to discuss, u are most welcome. Give me Buzz and i will call u back.

Thanks

Gaurav,
Thank you for calling me last week. The phone number that the receptionist gave me rings fast busy -- perhaps she wrote it down wrong.

Unfortunately, the management here at Tek-Tips will not give me your email address, and they will not forward to you my email address. Please call me again or send me an email at the following address: bobsimon at mail dot com.

I'm sorry that this is becoming such a hassle. I'd really like to learn how you fixed your ISDN reject issue because I have the same problem.
Bob
