Delta Server 1

I'm having difficulties connecting Delta Server to my IPOffice box. I installed CCC v5 on a Windows 2000 Server box. This is on the same subnet as my IP 406 box. Delta Server always gives me a "Comms Failure" and "Could not find server". Delta can see the 406 box in the Comms area, but after clicking apply, and waiting a few minutes, still "Comms Failure". I have not entered a license, it did not ask for one during install. I assumed that if I only had 1 IP box then I would be ok. Still new at this phone system, be gentle. Thanks.
 
You don't need a license to connect DeltaServer, there can be multiple reasons for not connecting.
- Already a DS running?
- Personal Firewall?
- Network failure, try to connect without a LAN connection (only CCC Server connected to IP Office )
 
If it is/was a invalid char the DeltaServer would connect but it will stop during initializing without any notification still showing "comms retsored".
I have seen that a lot.
 
Are you using LAN2?

I had similar problems ona site and discovered that LAN isn't supportedany purpose except for telephony.

Ok, I got it working. I made some adjustments in the security of Windows. Now I'm trying to figure out CCV and the other reporting software. I got an error "Sign on failure: No more available license's" when using CCV. Do I need licences to use the other parts of CCC?

you need Licence,s

CCC-Server
CCC-Supervisor = CCV
CCC-Agents
CCC-PCWallboard

If you have the CCC Server license then you have one license for CCV.
You will see this if there if the one CCV license is used by another user, check the licenses in deltaserver.
If this is not the case then try a full reboot of IPO and CCC server.
 
OK, I rebooted both. In Delta Server "License Info" all categories have 0 available and 0 remaining.
