I've installed Delta Server on the VMPRO box running Windows 2K3 and even gave it a shot on my laptop. Both machines cannot discover the IP Office. They will both either not see it at all or discover it as ACTASTampa 255.255.255.255. After that discovery it still won't connect.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I spent 2 days with Avaya support with a similar issue and it ended up an email address in "Voicemail Email" was not the correct format, I think the @ sign was missing on one user. We couldnt believe it, but this minor mistake was making it so the IPO and Delta Server would not connect.

My suggestion, go through all User Names, voicemail to email, source numbers and hunt groups and check any field that has alphanumeric characters and make sure they are valid (no spaces or invalid characters, etc.).

Are you using the updated Delta server 5.2.9? It is supposedly required for correct communications with IPO 4.0.x.

Every time i call Avaya with any kind of issue on win2003 server they say you need to run tech tip 113 and 119. it may be worth a shot.

Try adding the Delta Server in Data Execution Preventing (DEP) in My Computer Properties.Restart the Server.

Run the fw.bat on the machine that is running delta server and try again.
