Dell 964 AIO doesn't work

Installed 7 yesterday and everything went well except I cannot get the printer to print. Windows 7 recognizes it, I tried updating the driver but I can't even print a text page. All options a 'grayed out". Any thoughts?

Try going to the Manufacturer's website and look for Vista compatible drivers for the Printer. It seems as though Windows only knows what it is but hasn't actually installed a compatible driver it can use.

Do you have a Install CD which came with the software and drivers on it? If so you could try running the Setup.exe from the CD in a Vista or even XP Compatibility Mode and see if it works.

Thanks for your advice. Nothing worked, so I uninstalled the printer, restarted the computer and it reinstalled, found the software by itself and installed it and the printer worked fine
