Hi all,

I am in the market for one DECT handset that will work with my SL-2100.

Does anyone know of any model numbers that will work with this PBX?
I understand some are IP based and some require a base station that plugs into a digital extension port?

My licensing is as follows - also want to make sure this is sufficient for the chosen phone:

[pre]Feature No Group Name Feature Name Quantity Used Expiry Date
0080 Client Web Video Conference 4 N/A Never
5001 IP Related IP Trunk 5 N/A Never
5103 VoIP Channel 0(8) N/A Never
5201 Client Mobile extension 4 0 Never[/pre]

If I were to use a non-NEC handset. e.g. a generic SIP DECT phone, I would need licence 5111 in addition correct?

Thanks!!

The most common Dect handset is an Analogue handset and the most common card on an SL2100 includes 2 analogue ports What cards do you have installed? You could go for a SIP DECT handset but that would need a license so if you have an analogue port, why pay for a license?

Hello chay1,

One analog option to consider would be a Motorola O211 cordless.

If you want a SIP option, the Yealink W56h with a 5111 license works well too.

thanks all - I will try the SIP option - where do you all get your NEC licenses from? I tried one online but it looks spammy and I never got my licence.
