dbase III to visual dbase 5.7

I have lots data in dbase III plus files and am planning to acquire visual dbase latest version 5.7 or so. Will it be possible to convert the dbase III files to visual dbase.

Secondly I have applications I have developed in Visual Objects 2.5 and currently I use dbase III plus. Does Visual Objects read files in Visual dbase?

1. visual dbase versions will read the data in dbase 111 very well but may not read program codes becos the visual dbase series are object oriented while the dbase 3 copdes are command oriented
2.I have not used visual objects before but you may copy your visual objects files somewhere and use another copy to test the compatibility.
