I am currently cleaning up my RLIs and notice something weird on one of my NXXs. I need someone to enlighten me.

I have a NXX of 300 that uses an RLI that has no DMI referenced.

If I grab one of my PRIs directly via access code and dial 300xxxx it gets a reorder.

If I dial the same number utilizing AC1 9300xxxx it goes through.

If I access the PRI direct again via access code I can indeed dial the number via 10 digit dialing.

I am not sure why 300xxxx does not go through yet 9300xxxx does go through.

I thought the only digit manipulation on my end came from the dmi?

I notied when tracing the call if I direct access and dial 10 digit it says its National and if I use AC1 + 9300xxxx it says subscriber.

Thanks.

My advice is to use my conversion utility excel program which is available at

Read the attached guide first as you need to capture the data in LD 86, LD 87 and LD 90.

It should help you trace all of your outgoing codes from your system.

Copy That :) ! Its been a blessing and has allowed me to get this far.

I trace the path and I see no digit manipulation going on. I'm stumped right now.

Thanks!

are you sure your dial the acod of the route used on your rlb? your right, that test shows that the owner of that number regects call type national.. no unheard of but strange never then less..

Copy that bro. I hit the ACOD and it wont go with 7 but via AC1 + 7 digits it goes. No DMI for the RLI 0. Not sure why it goes via AC1 + 7 and not ACOD + 7? I am so confused :) I thought DMI was the only way to manipulate the digits?

nxx being tested was in rli 1 but moved to rli 0

I maybe missing the point of the original question as we only use SPN's in the UK, but I understand that 300xxxx doesn't work?. I'm assuming that this number is dialled without an access code and therefore would I be correct in thinking that an CDP entry is needed as well as the NXX code that is accessed via the AC1 "9" number?.

Another thing that might cause problems is TARG and TGAR settings as the route 25 has a TARG = 09 and 15. Any extensions with a TGAR of 9 or 15 won't be able to dial out across that route.

Copy that :)

Targ / TGAR ok
CDP not being used.

Its weird...AC1 + 300xxxx works
ACOD for Route 25 + 300xxxx does not work

But when you look at RLI 0 which uses Route 25 there is no digit manipulation / DMI so in essence dialing AC1 + 300xxxx should be the same as ACOD for route 25 + 300xxxx.

Yet AC1 goes through and ACOD 25 does not.

It has me stumped.

The only thing I have noticed is that when tracing the call if I direct access and dial 10 digit it says its National and if I use AC1 + 9300xxxx it says subscriber.

Thanks.
