CXi and Mxe: WAn interface

Curiosity question?

Has anyone ever made use of the WAN interface on CXi and MXe for desktop internet traffic or
sip trunking? I have only ever used for AMC licencing.

Was playing about with an mxe in my lab recently, attached to public ip address and it seems to work fine, for sip and internet, but of course thats working in a lab environment, not the real production environment.

Internet traffic, yes. We have several clients who we remote to via the WAN port. The SIP question I don't know. Thanks.
