Hi,

Just wondering if anyone knows if there's a way to force the LEDs at the top of the 1140 sets to flash in some sort of pattern. Our Help Desk techs use the blue tooth head sets with the 1140s and often customers and other techs do not know when they are on the phone. They placed a request with me, looking for some kind of indicator like "flashing LEDs" to identify them as on the phone.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers,

X

The only thing I know of is to use the busy lamp fields or BFS modules in this case the KEM attached to the phones that need to see other people.

NACT
Starts on key 32 programming.
As far as the lights on top I dont think you can change the way they flash.

If you have MCS 5100 integration, send yourself an IM when you're on the phone, which will light the blue light up. When you are off the phone, retrieve the IM, which will extinguish the blue light.
If you do ot have MCS5100 integration, send yourself a voice message, lighting the red light, when you are on the phone. When you are off the phone, retrieve the voice message to extinguish the light.

Repeat as necessary.
