I have a desk phone that has call forard external allowed
configured. When I have the user forward her desk phone
to a cell phone ( Verizon, Sprint) or home phone it fowards fine. However, when I have her forward to an
ATT cell phone I get "all circuits are busy 49".

I have been trying to reseach the error code but
to no avail.

I was wondering if it is a problem with the cell provider?
Or am I missing a configuration in the PBX that would limit
it to forward to ATT cell devices?

Any ideas?

PERRYPJ thats exactly what I thought as well. Because it goes out when forwarded to Sprint/Verizon Cell and to her home phone.

Reusser I will pull that information.I configured her phone exactly like the only other person at the site
who has CFXA. But he has a Verizon cell and it forwards no problem.

Here is the information I pulled from the PBX.

Phone that is able to forward - Verizon cell - this one works

The error 49 recording is coming from the ATT switch not the PBX

Thanks,

Buddy

bhassell2000 so its ATT then? they did a call trap with me the other day but he stated it was an issue with our PBX.
I still say its not my end its ATT. Above I posted the ATT Trap that the tech sent me.

This is the longest trouble I have ever had with call forwarding. Going on week 4.

Did they explain what their switch is programmed to send out an error 49? Or why they are rejecting the call? Are they saying they don't see the call hitting their switch?

Thanks,

Buddy

bhassell200 ATT stated that he didnt see the call hitting there switch. To me I wouldnt get the error code if it didnt go out the pbx when her phone was forwarded.

Is the trunk it is going out going to att? IT could be a local Verizon span and their switch could be rejecting it. Do you know the carrier? Call them and have them trace the call, see if they see it.

Thanks,

Buddy

There feeding you a line of BULL

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS AND AVAYA

I received error 010T when I tested from 26863(phone above) forwarded to 2028216386(cell) then when i called 26863 from my desk I got error 49 220.

Both stated all circuits are busy.

My calls
7034870036 to 7183406863 desk
7038947331 to 7183406863 cell

PERRYPJ...I totally think its BS.
They try to feed you everything to make you think its not them.

Also - is the error 49 a message caller hears or something you see on switch?

It is an error I hear when calling. 49 220 all circuits are busy.

then when dialing from a cell to her desk which is forwarded I get all circuits are busy 010T.

who is the service provider on the T1 it goes out of your PBX on?

Thanks,

Buddy

So that proves as stated above - call is making it to local carrier at least.

What if you call the ATT number from phone - no forward involved?

Definetly an ATT issue to me, what number are you calling the trouble in to?

Thanks,

Buddy

800 490 8128 this is the ATT number I used to get the call traced.

did you change
OPT CFO CFRD PVCD CWRA MCI
to CFF??

if not this post can run another 37 replies.. enhanced trac should show the call progress but if you can call the number, you can forward to it. cff and cfxa
