Last night we cut-over to a new branch system. the menu service that was configured as our main office number also moved.

The toll free was re-pointed this morning, however now CallPilot (4.0, succession 3.0) only seems to be accepting 1 call at a time, all other callers receive a busy.

The min max channels are set to 4 and 16 (in the SDN), so i don't believe this to be the problem.

This has become critical.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

6340 has a maxp 6 because there are 6 ivr channels (IVRDN 6340).

I am still having the problem... I've printed the parm below.

sorry this is taking so long but how is the the callpilot server setup as far as your channels in config wizard
and you said you are using ivr do you have symposium.

no problems only solutions

strmwalker

Just to confirm it seems to only be happening on external (inbound calls). Calls directly from site do not get a busy after placing multiple calls to the Menu Service.

how many calls can callpilot take internally?i have several
703t servers programmed with access channels ivr and multi
media but i always programm access 1st then ivr 2nd then multimedia channels because the way callpilot acquires then
channels if used with symposium.

no problems only solutions

strmwalker

well know i can see the light is this a new install and
if so re-run config wizard make the first 6 channels
access the next 6 ivr the remaining multimedia reboot the
server.then stop and start symposium services.

no problems only solutions

strmwalker

In my testing i was able to simultaneously host 6 calls dialing internally.. i never went beyond that.

that is because the way it is setup in config wizard.

no problems only solutions

strmwalker

Sounds like the toll free is coming in on only one line and is not, or does not have the ability to roll over to other lines when the first is busy. Is this coming in on a T-1/PRI or a POTS line? If T-1 confirm with Telco they gave it the ability to roll over to all lines, if analog, can you move it to T-1/PRI circuit.

It's a PRI (2 actually), the programming should be good for roll-over (what specifically)? The problem happens when dialing the DID directly npa-nxx-6715 or by calling the toll free.

What (if anything) on the switch side might prevent rollover of external calls in CallPilot?

81Cadmin...i have installed over 100 callpilots i have
never seen on built multimedia channels, access channels,
then the ivr channels if you will look at the ntps it will
tell you what i posted before access then ivr then multimedia now with that being said let think the the call
process on pri calls incoming hits the lowest number trunk
1 outgoing calls hit highest number trunk 23 or in case
you have two pri's so highest number would be 46.now think about the channels in callpilot.

no problems only solutions

strmwalker

can you prt in ld 20 one of the access channels then one of the ivr channels and post them and also post the elan info.

I spoke with the carrier briefly and have opened a ticket. They don't believe there would be anything on the PRI configuration wise that would prevent calls from rolling over. I have opened a ticket and am awaiting callback from them to do testing.
