wonderful site

i want to build a ccr tree with 4 options: press 1 for sales, 2- accounting, 3- hr, 4- general delivery

i would greatly appreciate any guidance

have never set up one of these but somewhat familiar with these startalk flash voicemail

When working with CCR disable it in TABLE first.

The single digits press are called Paths

Path 1 -Sale would be TRSF to salespersons DN
Path 3 -Hours would be INFO and record your hours of operation
Path 4 -General Delivery would be LVMSG to mailbox 10, 100 or 1000 depending on your DN length

If you were to press a digit and have more options to choose from then the first Path is MENU

I always recommend a service call and get some admin training, well worth it.

there are currently no trees built so would I still need to disable?
also, when I go into admin, select ccr tree, build, get through prompts, its ask me for path
I have 3 depts. I like to have single digit path too
press:
1-acctg
2-sales
3-consulting
4-general mailbox

not sure what I should input at build ccr tree path prompt?
any help greatly appreciated

thanks

If new tree then no disable required.

Example:
- part of the main greeting (path 0) is "for company address and fax number press 5"
Once you press 5 then you hear for address press 1, for fax press 2

Path 5 is the menu and its greeting is:
"for address press 1, for fax press 2"

Address would be Path 51 , INFO, greeting "We are located..."
Address would be Path 52 , INFO, greeting "fax # is...."

There is more and why you are best to have a tech come in and do it with you as well train for an hour, maybe 2.

No need to disable if no tree is built. Only if you want to change one and it is active

Path 0 (Press 0 > OK) will be your instruction menu where you record your instructions to the caller. If you are running bilingual be sure to record both PRIME and ALT greetings in the proper language

The rest is as above from Curly
Path 1 TRANS > INT > Accting DN
Path 2 TRANS > INT > Sales DN
Path 3 TRANS > INT > Consulting DN
Path 4 MAILBOX > GDMB DN (usually 100)

Press END > SAVE TREE X (1-4)

Then you will have to enable the CCR tree under the correct table which is pointed to by the LINES programming.

im trying to keep a very simple message and have 1 greeting that plays all time

for the 3 options, i only want to direct caller to an extension

1 for sales -> extension 225
2 for acctg -. extension 227
3 for consulting -> extension 225

once they select option, i simply want to ring that extension. if the extension does not answer, then there mailbox should pick up.

i have had some admin training though sprint tech was not very well versed either. have worked with flash just never built a tree

You been told what to do 4 times. If you don't understand, hire a tech.
