I have a phone that is somehow forwarded to an ACD group. When you dial the extension from inside, it rings fine and goes to VM. When you dial it through the voicemial AA or try to transfer to it, it sends the call to the ACD group. I've checked FWD no answer, FWD on busy, i've dialed F #4 to make sure that it wasn't forwarded, i've dial F #84 to make sure it wasn't redirected and i'm fresh out of ideas. Any insight into this weird problem would be greatly appreciated.

What level software is the NAM? If it is 4.0 you will need a redirect DN patch that will probably fix that problem. Email me and I will send it and the instructions on installing it to you.

I have already installed the VM patch when the system was first installed about 8 months ago. The problem only affects this phone and only on transfered calls from inside and transfered calls from the voice mail.

Ah, I see. Well now, in how many rings is it sending the call to the ACD? MRoberts

It goes on the first ring, it acts like it's redirected, but i've already checked that....

The easiest thing to do is to copy the programming of a working properly extension to the one that isn't working properly. This should save you from searching until you are cross eyed for the one setting that is causing your difficulties.
Try doing that. MRoberts

Sure, you can do a Port/DN reset.
Under Maintenance - show
System version - Next
Port/ DN status - Show
Show port: ___ - Press the DN button that came up in the display.
Show DN: ___ - enter the extension number

PO103:223 - meaning the port and DN number.
device >B2 State - press the state button.

Idle
disable ok - Press Disable. Then re-enable afterwards. MRoberts

I've had a similar problem with a NAM and MICS, the only thing that worked was reseting the NAM. But to be honest I didn't try reseting the station, so you may want to try that first.

it actually sounds like you have that extension set up as a transfer point into acd from the aa - I would check under the configuration group and look at your groups and make sure that extension is not associated with the acd.
HOpe this helps

Are you talking about the CCR settings? If so, I set the tree up to use 2 and transfer it to 579, which is my transfer DN for the ACD group. Where else would I look?
