of course it is pluged in...i was hopin for a helpful response there...lol

well you never know, sometimes they get jiggled a bit and dont make contact; its a valid troubleshooting step.

So you have it completely plugged in, and nothing lights up?

Maybe check the PSU plugs inside to make sure they're fully plugged in.

i have solid red lights in fron and no CPU light in the back...

Do you have the SD card/smart card fitted?

yes i do...the system was working fine at a customer site and just stopped...the customer called and said all phones were dead...

Does monitor connect?
If yes what does it say?
What do you see with a serial cable?

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Do you see a green led when you look into the box from the left thru the vent holes? If not, you need a new box.

@amriddle01 i really hope that's not the case right now

Is it a brand new system?
If yes them wait a couple of minutes.
If not then remove all cards and try them one by one.
Try a different SD card.

Sure you have the card in the right slot? write protection off!

yeh it's a feature card mu-law...i have it in as it should be with the serial number facing up...i tried a different card same thing...i actually have a second system where the cpu light is orange and the c/f light flashing greena dn orange.. i think i'm gona give up on the first one... they are both systems that were installed just over a year ago..

What version is it on?
6.0.8 and 6.0.14 have issues where the SD card becomes corrupt.

IT'S 5.0.8... install were about 2 years old... any ideas on the solid orange cpu light... that one has no response on the DTE.

Then it is an IP500v1
Which, already mentioned, can have bad power supplies.
Replace the IP500 control unit and it will work again.
