We have recently rolled out the ability for our employees to dial external phone numbers via SIP through our carrier. The problem we are experiencing is that the CPND of the phone set that is making the call to an external phone number via SIP is passing with their calling phone number. We also have office-to-office calling going over the same SIP trunk group within our PBX that we still want the CPND to pass. Is there a way to stop the CPND from passing on calls to external phone numbers and still allow the CPND to pass for office-to-office calls?

Thank you,

You can attach a name to the CLID entry in LD 95.
This way you can have a different name displayed for off-net calls. Check the Features Guide under CLID Name Enhancement.

StanleySteamer,

I have looked and do not see where the change would be made within LD95. Please advise.
