I have an ACD that forwards to our Help Desk (thanks GHTRout & everyone)
Is there a way to have caller ID to the Help Desk? For now it only gives whatever line it came in on, and the CFW. I would like it to say that it is from the other school if possible.
If you add a name like "Other School" to the ACD DN (use LD95) and set the CLS of the Help Desk to CLS DNDA - you should get that to display on their phones.
Our Help Desk was set up before my time and I don't know much about it. It has a couple HUNTS etc. When I tried to set the cls to DNDA I got an error (sch4525 - Package for Digit Display not equipped, which is required for Caller's
Name Display or Dialed Name Display; or NDD Class of Service is not allowed with CNDA or DNDA Class of Service.)
Which I don't really understand. This is the prt of the help desk, is there a way to make the caller id work?

You can't allow one phone to ruin it for the rest of the phones. You can get your point across without replacing the entire system. Do what I do...if reason don't work, throw it against a brick wall 5 times. Then shoot it with a 12 gauge. Put another phone in its place and move on.
