Mailboxes getting locked.

I look like a fool when I tell the client they must be wrong and it does show how many failed password attempts in the report but they sent me the report and sure enough it does not show.

In the guide is shows that it should report it:

The Mailbox Activity Report shows:
• number of messages recorded and their total length and average length
• number of times the maximum message length is reached
• number of messages received and their total length and average length
• number of times the mailbox is accessed for log on or call answering, with total connect
minutes and resulting average
• average time before new messages are played
• average time before messages are deleted
• number of times when log on authentication fails because of password failure. (A possible
attempt at unauthorized access to a mailbox.)
• cumulative averages for the above
• whether Primary, Alternate and CLID-based Greetings are recorded

Here is the report from today:

On Saturday it shows the mailbox was locked twice.
In fact there was few MB's that show it locked once on Friday and twice on Saturday.

I cant exactly blame a hacker when it does not show the amount of failed password attempts.

This happened to a couple other sites in the same area and same thing on those system where it did not show on the reports, Rls 3 BCM50 for the other sites.

Any ideas as to why it's not reporting the attempts?

Interesting Curly.
Looks like they got documentation that completely contradicts what you actually see in the system. (Imagine that! LOL)

Notice that the Activity Report description doesn't mention anything about how many times the mailbox was locked either?

Maybe they expect you to extrapolate the information like so...
I'm using COS 1, and my mailbox was locked out twice. COS 1 allows 9 Max Incorrect Password Attempts, and that happened twice, so that would be 9x2 or 18 Incorrect Password Attempts on the same day.

LOL ... is anybody still wondering how Nortel bit the dust???
