I am trying to set up a coverage time of day for a user and just want to verify my steps. I need a number to go to an after hours line from 1600 to 0730. The number is an option in an auto-attnd.
So what I'll do is set a cov time-of-day up (t2) and assign the number a cov path of t2 on the phone set in my CMS. I'll assign a cov path of lets say 12 and connect that to a vdn of 4000001 for instance and connect that to a vector and point that to the 800-xxx-xxxx
So at 1601 if someone calls 47x-xxxx presses option 2 that will then go to the after hours line. Does this sound correct? sorry for any confusion!

Hi

You could when choosing option 2 send it through a VDN which send to a specific vector.

In the vector have time of day steps whereby if between 1600-1700 it goes to a different step within the same vector and then routes to your out of hours number.

If its not between the specifc times then you can send it back to your original set up.

06 goto step 10 if time-of-day is all 16:00 to all 17:00
07 goto step 9 if unconditionally
08 stop
09 route-to number 6xxxx with cov n if unconditionally
10 go-to vec1@step1 if unconditionally
11 stop

oops my go to step wrong way round - but you get the idea.

06 goto step 9 if time-of-day is all 16:00 to all 17:00
07 goto step 10 if unconditionally
