I have a coverage path 63 and I have 3 points:
Point 1: 76744 Point 2: c15 Point3: h99

When a call is made to main extension 71012 with coverage path 63 and goes thru point 1 and point 2 then when it is supposed to go to ext 71012 VM it is going to ext 76744 VM instead which is Point 1.

Any suggestions????

Thank you everyone

This is normal procedure , what I have done to achive this is to sent the last coverage path to a vdn that hits a vector with a messaging step in it for the extension I require.

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

Thanks Montyzummer. I already created a VDN with a vector that routes to messaging. I was under the assumption that the call goes to the VM of the station called not to the VM of the extension at point 1.

Thanks

This behavior is normal when you have a coverage answer group as a point of coverage and in this situation i have a CAG as point 2. Once I remove it the call goes to the VM of the station called and not to Point 1 VM.

With normal behavior, calls should never end up in the the mailbox of any coverage point, it should always go to the mailbox of the primary extension called if the voice mail hunt group is the last point of coverage (and if there is no manipulation on the voice mail system)
Did you do a trace on the call to see why you're getting that behavior?

montyzummer is correct because you made it go to 76744 and then pointed to a ca group it would then try to go into the mailbox of 76744, thats why last point needs to be a vdn to a message skill 99 for extension active assumming 99 is the hunt group for voicemail.

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.
