Coverage Answer Group and Caller ID

Here is the scenario....

An outside caller rings extension 2000, which is an X port in the system with a coverage path of 2. Coverage path 2 uses Coverage Answer Group 2 as its coverage point. There are 4 phones in the coverage answer group.

When one of the users in the coverage answeer group gets the incoming call, Caller ID is not passed, and it states that the call is from the X port station.

Any ideas how to "Clean this up"

Hi,

Try making ext. 2000 a hunt group. That is what we did a long time ago. If you have vectoring capabilities, make it a vdn, and vector it to point to (again) a HG.

Thanks for that. My users want to be alerted all at once (broadcast). I don't know if a hunt group will allow this to happen?
