So I have a user that wants calls to go to extension A then cover to extension B which will then cover to extension B's voice mail. What I am running into, is that if you send calls, or forward calls, or have a coverage point set to a different phone, there is no way to get the voice mail of the covering extension to pick up that call, all I can do is set voice mail to be the 2nd coverage point, but that is still for extension A's voice mail, not B's. Just curious if anyone knows how to make this happen?

in the coverage make point two a vdn to a vector that will say message skill 99 for extension (extension number that you want messages to go into to) and also assuming hunt 99 is the voicemail dn, so if messaging skill is 50 then it would be message skill 50 for extension (extension number)

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

Like SJ said...good way to do it, if you can't do vdn then you can also do it in "audix"

...bob...

In audix, you can change subscriber data and associate the other station as the secondary extension. Then both numbers will use the same voicemail.
Another way is cover off-net and come back into the pbx on a DID trunk to the other mailbox.

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"

Thanks for all the suggestions! I think a VDN will solve my problem. Should of thought of that. But, only 4 months into the job haha!
