Hi All,
We are deploying the Contact recorder on Application server (Release 9.1), we haven't ordered the additional HDD to store the calls and want to use the primary HDD to store the calls.
Is it possible to configure contact recorder without additional HDD, in that case what should be the call storage path set while configuring?
What are the disadvantages if we dont use the additional HDD?

You have to install the additional hard drive.

I finished the configuration without the additional HDD and its working fine.
We need to set the default path(/CSIPORec) for the storage location.
Since the number of recorded calls are very less storage wont be a problem, but its always recommended to use additional HDD.

2nd hard disk is recommended as it enables the Call recorder software to monitor the available space.

as linux does not care where item on the file tree is physical located a separate partition should be sufficient (it should also be possible to mount a network drive as well, but access speeds may be an issue for call recorder - i don know))

Avaya would not support any issues encountered on system installed this way

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
