Connection question

Hi Guys

Just help me out with this.

Everything on my system is working fine. I just have a quick question. When I retrieve information from database. I make a connection and retrieve information. Some pages I forget to close the connection in my code. Do you think this will cause problem with the server.

Will this slow down the server or will the connection automaticall close when the user leaves the page.

Please help me out on this.

Yes, Yes and Yes

Always close connections to anything when you are finished with them. That being said even if there is no problems seen at that time

yes leave the connection open will cause the server to slow down and it is a good practice to always close all the connection and record set objects and set them to nothing explicity...
