Having problem getting the 4424ld+ to recognize the second dss. Have all the correct connectivity and cabling. It will show the second 50 on the first dss but never get lights on the second. Any ideas?

Did you program the extension range properly for the second dss? It's been awhile, but I think it's under System Program, start, Sysrenumber, dss.

Programmed second button for page 2. It does not let me program in multiples of 100. I thought it would if you connected a second dss.

So for instance, did you program them for 100, 200, 300? Or are you trying 100, 150, 200?

Actually they are programmed 50,100.150. Can that be changed to 100,200,300?

I know you can renumber. Does that help with my problem of the second dss not showing lites?

You say that the lights don't work on the second dss but do they operate and ring the right phone when a button is pressed?

yes they do if the button below the page 1 button is pressed at the same time as page 1 button. If you press page 2 button nothing on dss2 only on dss1.

Already did all cable and equipment swapping. Things work as previously descrided with any combination. Have considered power down but this is a 24/7 operation. Ext range 700 thru 799.

How about that power supply for the phone. Is it hot?
I suppose that if you have swapped out the cabinets and dss 1 always lights while dss 2 does not then it would appear to be a power issue. Perhaps a power cycle could be useful.

I suppose that you could change the cross connect from slot 1 port 1 to slot 1 port 5 on slot one assuming that it is a operator station. This may prove one thing or another.

How about the cabling? Is it four pair all the way through?

Not a power problem already swapped power supply and cable to phone. There is a 1 pr cable from port to power supply. Changing ports is a test option. So far everything I have tried has failed. I have been fighting this issue for 2 weeks.
