Hey guys,
Has anyone tried to add a Panasonic SIP phone KX-tgp550 to an Avaya IP Office server edition before. I was told by Panasonic that it is compatible, but after 3 hours on the phone with Panasonic tech support I was not able to get it to work. So if anyone has any experience or thoughts on this I'd greatly appreciate.

Thank you,
Nick

I've done a few with IP500, but it will not be any different, they work well.
Post a screenshot of the SIP line config in the phone :)

Thank you in advance, did you populate the IP address of the phone on the SIP Extension tab in Manager?

No, don't fill anything in the IP address in the system, I think I usually put the system IP in "Outbound Proxy server" and the "Service Domain" also, but not in presence server, that's blank usually. Also that password needs to be the login code not the user password in the system :)

It's always trial and error with any 3rd party phone, but they all tend to work with a few mins of changing bits and bobs :)

Forgot to say, I always untick "Force Authorisation" in the SIP extn settings in the IPO :)

THANK YOU! That was it the "Service Domain and outbound proxy server" AWESOME!

No worries, make sure you read up on transfer, there are totally different processes on the handsets for blind and supervised IIRC :)
