Connecting MS Access and Outlook

I have customer information being delivered to my outlook.

Is it at all possible for Outlook and Access to be synced so when I receive customer information it is sent to or synced to access as a form ready for input into Access.

If I need to be more specific please let me know.

Yes, it is possible for Access to access your Outlook inbox, "read" mesagges, extract data and update tables within Access. I have written at least one client application which did this.

The Easy pasrt is opening outlook using automation, from Access.

You can then read the messages in the InBox.

Depending on the format of the incomming messages, it is then an easy/difficult task to parse the message, extract the required data and update Access,

Note that you can have Outlook folders as tables in your database too.

Try File, Get External Data, Link Tables. Then in the resultant dialog box change "Files of Type" to Exchange - then just follow the wizard.

You can add a table linked to an Outlook or Exchange folder to any Access database, using drivers built into Office 2000 (or later), by following these steps:
1. In Access, click the New Table button to add a new table.
2. In the New Table dialog, choose Link Table, then click OK.
3. In the Link dialog, under Files of type, choose Outlook.
4. If you're prompted for an Outlook profile, indicate which one you want to use
5. In the Link Exchange/Outlook Wizard, choose the address book or folder you want to link to, then click Next.
6. Give the linked table a name, then click Finish.
