Hello all,

I am having troubles trying to substitute the IP-DECT system connected to an IP Office 500 5.0.22 for a new DECT R4 system.

The actual IP base station is an RFP32 with 3711 handsets subscribed. The new R4 IPBS is an BS340 with 3725 handsets.

The 3725 handsets are already correctly subscribed to the IPBS. Using the R5 manager I have deleted the IP DECT line and created a new one with the IP and MAC of the R4 Master IPBS. In the IPBS configuration I have created a primary trunk with the LAN IP of the IPO 500 unit.

Problem is that in the IPBS the state of the trunk is always DOWN and the 3725 handsets show "PBX out of serv." in the display. If I click the button "Activate primary trunks" the state changes to ACTIVE, and the 3725 handsets shows the registered user name for a seconds. Then the state is back to down.

I had not idea what is going wrong. The IP communication between the IP unit and the IPBS have not problem.

Need some help.

Thanks in advance.

It seems the problem is solved. After a firmware update of the IPBS I have double-checked the configuration: the PBX type was not IPO.

Thanks again for your help.
