As the subject says
I dont care about SCN call features and facilities. I only want to connect 75 remote sites to a single IP500 in a star topology using internet vpn lines that already exists.
Is it possible to create all these h323 ip lines to the Main system?
If not using h323 is it possible using sip lines ?

Regards

I would not see a reason why not. As long as you have VCM channels in each system you can set them up, but just over a VPN using the regular Internet you will get quality fluctuations.

It is possible but you need to set it up very good
If you do not plan this right you will have a very big config

Biggest I ever did was over 1100 systems using H450/H323 without SCN.

HAHA! Small retail locations with <10 phones each. We set them up in local and regional hubs to keep the config size smaller. Each hup had <20 sites and was connected to one of 5 regional hubs with ~10 local hubs each.

Dial plan is a nightmare and calling from a site through a local hub to a regional hub to a remote regional hub to a remote local hub to a remote site was...interesting.

If you have a good detailed drawing you are fine :)

that is a big drawing, you need to paint that on the side of an RV and then you can use that as a service vehicle.

lthoyugh I have never tried it there is the SES facility in => V4 where the central hub is a Avaya SES server , I think this then handes the call routing much easier than creating 75squared routes on each system

not to feed your ego, but haven't you nominated to guiness record? I think that even Avaya is not aware of such a BIG mesh...

Avaya doesn't know everything that is done to and with their systems.
I put SIP lines on Partner systems and IP Offices 3 or 4 years ago with ATA's when they still said it is not possible, but the cheaper the customer the sooner they want stuff like that hooked up.
