Connecting 5610SW to IPO over a VPN link

HI

I have a 5610SW onmy desk and an extension configured on a customer site, I have a Hardware VPN between the two sites the phone can see the site as it has downloaded the firmware from the Voicemail PC. how ever the phone is displaying Discover 192.168.19.240 which is the IP address of the IPO on site.

I am unable to make them talk to each other, I can Ping the phone system from my office and from the site I canPing back up the link to hte phone so the link is there.

Any clues as to why this is happening,

I have put a VCM32 in the IPO software version is 4.2(20) I am thinking this might be alicence issue but not sure. Any help is Appreciated
 
You need to add an iproute in the ipoffice to the 192.168.19.0 range.
The ipoffice cannot see the phone.

The phone itself is on my network it is on 192.168.1.37

there is an IP route in the IPO advertising that if you want 192.168.1.37 go via 192.168.19.253 (dedicated router for doing VPNs), and on my side I have a VPN tunnel from 192.168.1.37 tothe 192.168.19.0 network, the phone can see the Voicemail PC where the manager software is and download firmware.

Have changed the route from 192.168.1.37 to 192.168.1.0 and rebooted the phone and it is not working.

full line is
192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.19.253 LAN1

Is this likely to be a licence issue??

Are there any ports blocked on the vpn link?

No Ports being blocked over the VPN it is treating it like a LAN Link.
 
Just because you have not programmed your router to block ports does not mean that the router is not blocking ports. Some routers block h323 traffic by default.

 
Then it should work fine.
Does monitor or SSA show anything?
