Connect Me Voice SIP trunk with IP Office

Struggling with getting a SIP trunk setup from a new provider Connect Me Voice. IPO ver 11, embedded VM.

I've tried so many variations of setting it up but still seeing Trunk out of Service from System Status.

Anyone have a good template or KB for using this provider?

Create an additional URI, Incoming group 17, outgoing group 18 (or something else, just be unique), change each "Auto" to "Use Internal Data". Create a new ARS that targets outgoing group 18, and make sure you have a valid telephone number in the User's SIP tab

What's the downside of not creating a separate URI and changing those 4 to 'use internal data'?

The short codes will not work anymore to set the caller ID.

Thanks. What is the setting I see sometimes in the ARS that has @ followed by some numbers. How is that different than sXXXXXXX ?

The @xyz.ab adds the SIP domain to the called number. But that's obsolete since it is set based on the SIP trunk config.
