We have Avaya IP Office 500 and Nortel BCM 50 and we want to connect them to each other using VOIP Trunking. On IP Office I can create H323 line with VoIP settings, Incoming Call Route (with right Line group ID) and short code for dial BCM 50 (is this ok, or I must do anything else?). What I must configure on Nortel BCM so I can dial extensions on IP Office and reverse. Any help is appreciated.

With IP trunks the incoming call routes dont apply. you can use short codes in the line for that or it will match extensions automatically.

Kwing advice is correct, also you should post the second part of your question in a Nortel forum as we aren't best suited to tell you that being IP Office Engineers :)

I've just bought a brand new car and on the way out of the dealership the engine seized, they want £2000 paid in advance to look at it which they will keep if they can find a way to blame me for it......Remind you of anything :)

We tried it, H323 does not work from IPO 500 to BCM.
We did it with a sip trunk from IPO to BCM and a H323 from BCM to IPO. This works.

Sip does not work from BCM to IPO.
